Collective care is where it's at | Let's come together again for an 'alum reunion' with past TSC Workshop participants.
WHAT | A social & supportive 2STGNB connection space where we can check-in and then share space in community for collective joy & pleasure, of course, always holding space for the hard stuff.
WHO | This invite is extended to past participants of addyson's Trans Self-Compassion & Shame Resilience workshops, groups, and offerings, specifically those who are trans, nonbinary, and/or otherwise gender divergent. This is a no-cost gathering via ZOOM.
WHEN | Upcoming gatherings on the 5th Thursdays from 6-7:30PM Eastern.
Quarterly-ish gathering on Thursday evenings (tentatively 5th Thursdays: 8/31, 11/30, 2/29, 5/30).
Open to adjusting the time earlier/later depending on interest/availability for the majority. Note: If that day/time won't ever work for you, please feel free to share other preferred days/times that might be possible in future.
Tentative Plan:
We will start with some super queer music followed by brief circle-share introductions (or possibly small breakouts depending on size of group) and a (100% optional) prompt.
We may shift into sharing some experiences of pleasure & joy that help us to stay connected in community and continue to find tiny slivers of hope. Participants are invited to "show & tell" these experiences in whatever form they might come (e.g., a story, a poem, a video, a song, a dance, a gender euphoria or radical affirmation moment, etc). 100% optional, as addyson will also have some things on standby as needed.
Bring whatever you need for your body to nurture yourself, e.g., a favorite snack, soothing beverages, fidget toys, sensory soothing items, etc.
A few practical pieces:
Registration/RSVP is required for safety and security reasons. If you register, please plan to arrive as close to the start time as possible (or text 401-216-7877 if you are running behind).
A minimum of 3+ people is ideal for this gathering. You'll receive a reminder email 24 hours in advance to re-confirm, cancel, or reschedule.
If you will be logging into the zoom via phone and/or joining with a name other than the one indicated on this form, please email (addyson@wholeheartedpsych.com) or message addyson (401-216-7877) in advance so they know it is you waiting to enter.
And as always, participants can decide whether they'd like to turn their videos on, whether to rename themselves & indicate pronouns, and whether they would like to speak off-mute.*Note: this will NOT be recorded.
